Alex Tullio (Chair)
BA, GradDip FinPlan, GradDip Practice Management, GAICD
Alex was appointed a non-executive director of Sandhurst Trustees in March 2021 and was also the Chair of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee until 30 October 2025. Upon restructuring the governance of Sandhurst Trustees towards an internal Board structure, Alex has continued her involvement as Chair of the newly formed Sandhurst Compliance Committee.
Alex is an experienced executive, commercial leader, board director and businesswoman, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a deep knowledge of enterprise sales and consultative selling. Having previous executive roles at Financial Executive Women, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and IOOF, she brings 25+ years of experience leading business transformation, operations and growth within complex, highly regulated environments.
Alex is currently working with industry leader and disrupter GROW. Inc in a senior leadership role.
Joanna Bird
LLB, BA, BCL, GAICD
Joanna Bird was appointed an independent member of the Sandhurst Compliance Committee in October 2025 following a successful career as a regulator at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) with involvement in all aspects of regulation, including compliance and enforcement, law reform and policy development.
Joanna is an experienced financial services and consumer protection regulator and consultant. She is currently a member of the Tax Practitioners Board, a consultant to Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and teaches regulatory theory and practice as well as financial services regulation at Australian Universities.
Prudence Milne
BEc, LLB, LLM, GAICD
Prudence Milne was appointed an independent member of the Sandhurst Compliance Committee in October 2025 as a senior legal executive with over 35 years of experience in corporate law within the financial services environment, ASX listed companies and private legal practice. Her extensive knowledge and skills span across Banking, Securities, investment and funds Management and Capital Markets having previously worked at AMP Capital Investors, Helia, StatePlus and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
