Fund overview

The objective of the Sandhurst Cash Common Fund (Fund) is to offer investors a professional money market style investment with the combination of competitive interest rates (when compared to traditional “at call” style bank accounts), regular income, capital stability and easy access to funds.

Investment Strategy

Sandhurst aims to achieve the investment objective of the Fund by investing in a range of investment grade readily negotiable bank backed securities or bank deposits. The short-dated securities that form the investment portfolio are selected based on analysis of credit worthiness and value.

Sandhurst continually monitors the Fund portfolio's and manages them according to changing economic conditions based on our long term experience. The authorised investments of the Fund currently include the following investment classes:

  • A bank accepted or bank endorsed bill of exchange which at the time of acquisition has a maturity date of not more than 200 days
  • A certificate of deposit issued by a bank whether negotiable, convertible or otherwise
  • A deposit or term deposit with a bank
