Fund overview

The Sandhurst Conservative Fund (Fund) aims to deliver regular income and moderate capital growth over the medium term, whilst minimising the risk of capital loss.

Investment strategy

To predominantly invest in Bendigo Conservative Wholesale Fund and Bendigo Conservative Index Fund (the Underlying Investments) which are managed by a selection of high quality, leading active and index investment managers across a variety of asset classes in a manner that Sandhurst believes will meet the investment return objective.

Asset allocation

Sandhurst determines, given the prevailing market conditions, the allocation of amounts to each asset class on an ongoing basis within the ranges set out below.

The Fund invests 80% to 100% of its assets in the Underlying Investments (with the uninvested portion held in cash). The neutral position of the Sandhurst Conservative Fund is 40% growth assets and 60% defensive assets. Through its holdings in the Underlying Investments, the strategic asset class allocation range of the Fund is:

The strategic asset class allocation provides an indication of the intended holdings through the Underlying Investments and actual holdings may be higher or lower.
